The nonprofit currently houses a homeless shelter, soup kitchen, mobile soup kitchen, and the Caring Community Clinic - which provides free primary healthcare to adults who are wihtout insurance or income to obtain needed care through other means.

Her company provides critical OSHA and other safety training for contractors, builders and subcontractors in the Eastern North Carolina region. The Jacksonville-Onslow Council for the Arts has benefitted from the marketing expertise of By His Design's president Cindy Edwards.
